Oat Crackers

Ciao Everyone!!

How many great combinations can be built upon the cracker??

There's savory, like cheese or hummus..

Or served alongside a spicy craziness like salsa..

Or even sweet, as a yummy snack with nutella!

Whatever you like to do with your cracker-snackage, there is one important common factor..

The cracker must be substantial, yet delicious.

Personally, I like my crackers to also be good for me as well:)

So here is a recipe to make your own super-great-in-every-way crackers!!! (Including being pretty super easy as well, which is also a happy thing:] )

Crackers!!
(original recipe)
makes: 35-40 crackers, or about 3-4 servings
Ingredients:
1/4 cup water
pinch salt
1/2 cup homemade oat flour
2 tablespoons wheat germ
2 tablespoons flax seeds
a little extra water

Directions:
1) Mix salt and water together in a bowl.
2) Add flour, wheat germ, and flax seeds. Combine thoroughly.
3) Set oven to 380 degrees to heat. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and sprinkle a little extra flour on it. Press dough onto tin foil into a thin sheet.
4) Use a knife to score cracker sheet so they break easier later. Sprinkle water  all over cracker sheet and spread around (this helps to ensure crispiness).
5) Bake 20-25 minutes. Let cool a few minutes, then break into individual crackers (according to your score-lines).
6) Enjoy!

Ciao for now!
