Chocolate Protein Pudding

Ciao everyone!!

How was your spring break? Or, if you are about to take it, do you have any great plans??

And yes, deciding to be home and RELAX and/or catch up on homey things DEFINITELY counts as a great plan!!!!

If you are in the boat of some of us who have just jumped back into the crazy schedule of school and homework added to life's daily tasks, then I have a recipe for you...

Let's say it's the middle of the day and you are Worn Out.

Or you're about to make the effort to head to the gym for a little visit, but you are a little hungry...

Or it's at night and you want a snack, but not the usual, and also something healthy, but not something that would be thought/time consuming to make....

You spot the vanilla protein powder on your kitchen counter that you forgot to put away this morning.

And then.. voila! You remember this recipe!

Two more ingredients later, and bowl and a spoon for mixing, and you're done. And it's good:)

Chocolate Protein Pudding
Ingredients:
A very good tasting vanilla plant-based protein powder (although I suppose chocolate flavored would work     just as well here!)
Milk of choice (my favorite is either the vanilla or original almond milk)
Unsweetened, natural cocoa powder
Optional: agave nectar/stevia
Add-in ideas: diced fruits (banana, strawberry, blueberry...), chocolate chips, craisins, raisins, nuts

Directions:
Put one scoop of protein powder in your mixing bowl of choice. Slowly add the milk and mix mix mix! As it comes together, add the cocoa (about 1 tablespoon). Add a little more milk and keep mixing; repeat this step until it has a pudding consistency. Add sweetener, if desired. Add mix-ins, if desired. Enjoy!

Ciao for now
