This is another quick and simple snack for your busy life:)
The flavors are very reminiscent of island-y tastes, which is nice to have in the middle of a back-to-back busy school/work schedule!
The mango brings in a thousand benefits with hardly any extra thoughts to your already busy mind, such as:
-cancer prevention, due to antioxidants
-clears the skin
-promotes eye health, due to vitamin A
-alkalizes the body
-helps normalize blood sugar levels in bloodstream
-promotes digestive well-being
-boosts immune system
Also, I ended up adding red chili flakes on top, which brought it up one level on the awesome scale.
(Besides the fact that chili flakes are also great for their own list of reasons, if you don't mind the spice!!)
Mango Lime Snack Bowl
3/4 cup diced mango
about 1/4 cup grape nuts or other crunchy cereal/granola
a puffy 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or plain or vanilla or dairy-free
optional: natural flavored plant protein powder
also optional: red pepper chili flakes
1) (If using protein powder to up nutritional density, start by combining separately with yogurt of choice)
2) Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Sprinkle with chili flakes if desired.
