CREATIVE:
Also, do you write?
Poetry, music, stories, ideas...
Well for anyone who does, has ever before, or would really like to, I have an idea:
Make a commitment to your writing-self. As if it were a living being; its own entity.
You need to view you and your creativity like one of the most important relationships of your life.
The relationship will take time, love, and sincerity of heart.
If
you keep your commitments to your writing-self (such as practicing
often, reviewing what has been done, and always thinking about where to
go next), then it will keep returning to you as the most faithful
friend, with an overflow of beautiful, intriguing, and exiting things to
write down.
In other words, get a notebook, dub it your "meeting place" and write OFTEN and REGULARLY.
Find
prompts, such as on easystreetprompts.com, or on websites like this
one, or make up your own, or look out for random words and phrases that
just spark your mind to a roaring fire of thoughts.
And then? RIGHT THEM ALL DOWN. You will be amazed how mind-blowing this relationship will become.
Now,
you may be wondering why the posts below have such strange titles.
Well, here's the thing- you never know what will start your writing-self
to speak..or scream.. at your fingers to lift a pen to the paper and
flow.
Enjoy:)
